    Connect your battery

    Sign in through Tesla's own secure page and allow energy access. We never see your password, and we can only read figures.

    Add it to Google Home

    In the Google Home app, tap Add, then Works with Google Home, and choose VoltVoice. Your battery and solar appear as devices.

Do I need any extra hardware?

No. VoltVoice runs online. You need a home battery, a Google speaker or the Google Home app on your phone, and Wi-Fi. Only the optional big-screen add-on needs a small helper at home.

Which systems does it work with?

Right now it works with Tesla Powerwall home batteries and Tesla solar, together with Google Home, Nest speakers and Nest displays. We'd like to add more systems over time.

Can it control my battery?

No, and that's on purpose. VoltVoice is read-only. It tells you what's happening but never changes your settings.

What can I ask?

How full the battery is, whether it's charging, and how much solar you made, how much the house used and how much you took from the grid today. Google speaks the answers, so the wording can vary.

How do I pay, and can I cancel?

It's £9.99 a year by card. Cancel whenever you like and it simply won't renew. During early access you won't be charged until your place is ready.

Is VoltVoice made by Tesla or Google?

No. VoltVoice is an independent product from Flying Penguin AI Limited, a UK company. It isn't affiliated with, or endorsed by, Tesla or Google.

What happens to my data?

We only collect what VoltVoice needs to work, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. The privacy notice has the detail.
